Financial Literacy Cougar Money Matters
Upcoming Events

Look for financial literacy and wellness sessions at upcoming ALIVE sessions.  We are also working on speakers for the 2019-2020 academic year, as well as planning for the April 2020 Financial Wellness Fair.

Past Events

Financial Wellness Fair: April 9, 2019, 11 AM to 2 PM, CUB Junior Ballroom, Pullman Campus

Students met with experts in the field of personal finance.   We had people from a variety of organizations here to help students better prepare to manage their financial future.   This event was an opportunity to ask questions and gather resources to better your financial future.  We had free pizza and did a drawing for prizes.

Check out our full interview with Jed Collins! Jed spoke at the Pullman campus on April 9th, 2019 from 2pm-3pm in room 5062 of the fine arts building, and from 6pm-7:30pm in room G045 in the SPARKS building.  Coug Money Matters interviewed Jed to help give a sneak peek for students who attended one of his sessions.

Jed Collins on Financial Literacy and Wellness: In November 2018, Jed Collins visited the WSU Pullman campus. He discussed some of the financial literacy and wellness topics he has developed. He is a WSU alumni who played football for the Cougs from ’04-’07, continuing his football career in the NFL for several seasons. He is now pursuing his passion for financial management and financial literacy through his work for Brighton Jones in Seattle.
